Thanks guys!

Took it out for a spin today. I like my boards longer than this (7'4"), but I designed this when I was riding boards this size. Paddles fine and catches waves fine, 'tho, no problem there, turns great, a fun board to ride. Surprisingly, no leaks! (at least as far as I can tell so far) I was a little concerned about the goretex vent, but I guess my install was OK after all. Overall good marks, but my next wood board is going to be a bit longer.

Thanks for the ride report, Huck. I haven't been clear on whether I get older or the boards get shorter. Anyway, glad the board got salty!

BTW, here's the view from the backyard deck

It must be horrible to wake up to a view like that....Could you imagine it during a storm? That one plam tree just swaying in the wind ruining your view.

Yo Huck! Not sure why I missed the final shots and ride report in this. I am blown away by the final result! Congratulations, I know you put an amazing amount of thought into this board and it really turned out stunning. I'll be down in Ventura in two weeks, maybe you can make it out to C street for a session!
