Unread post Converting a Camper to a Building Room?
This is sort of a "project" , so I'm posting it here. Has anyone here converted a camper to a board building room? How did it work out? Any pitfalls to this idea?

My only other option is using one of those large pop up screenhouse/shelters. If anyone has used one of those, I'd also appreciate some input.

I live in NY, and this will be used from now until sometime in the late fall.

Thanks for any advice.

Ronin,
Have you decided to proceed? Can we live vicariously through you?
I have never tried, but the through has also crossed my mind. I don't have a 'spot' so to speak that does not displace something else.
The only pitfall I see is lowish ceilings.
Please keep us posted.

I would go the pop up route. The only issue will be when it's time to glass & dust issues.
My first build was all outside on the porch.... except for glassing.

I resin coated a board in my old VWLT35 camper - middle of winter with the engine running, heater on and gas job blazing. No room to move around the board. I think Roy Stewart is the master at mobile building, I remember seeing some pictures of his bus with a build awning on the side. Cool!

Shaper Studios Vancouver has a great set-up with this trailer.
