Post Dust collection
I don't think I've seen a thread on this topic yet.
I just moved and I'm about to start setting up my new shop from scratch.
First order of business will be dust collection.
Any ideas? Recommendations? Warnings?

I’m looking at this model from Grizzly so far.

Seems like a good bang for the buck.

Post pics if you got em!

Post Re: Dust collection
I've used a dust collector of another brand name that looked exactly like that one. I'm sure it was the same. It had a couple very minor sheet metal leaks that were easily sealed with calking. Good filtration, a little underpowered. The crank to clear out the filter worked well. A cyclone type may be a little overkill for a very small shop but If you spring for one you won't be sorry. http://www.grizzly.com/products/1-1-2-H ... ctor/G0443 The filter takes much longer to load up and loose suction. The cyclone alone filters so well I usually bypass the filter completely and let the exhaust blow outside. This trick nearly doubles the suction and vurtually no sawdust is blown outside.

I have a very effective, large scale, dust collection system.
It goes everywhere! Then I clean it up.
There must be a better method.
